Enzyme may reduce risk of cardiovascular disease caused by HIV medications

Enzyme may reduce risk of cardiovascular disease caused by HIV medications: According to the World Health Organization, approximately 37 million people are living with HIV. Antiviral medications are used to control the disease and prevent its progression to AIDS. Although antivirals improve health and increase survival for people with HIV, their use also has been linked to the development of cardiovascular disease. Now, researchers at the University of Missouri School of Medicine have identified an enzyme that may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease caused by HIV medications.

Welcome to the British British Columbian

Welcome to the British British Columbian.

This blog is the perspective of a typically eccentric British Canadian living in the beautiful British Columbia. Think of it as a virtual tea and crumpets with some rather racey stories to tell. Please excuse the gritty bits, they sometimes can't be helped when living in the wild Canadian West.

If you are looking to start with something filling may I suggest reaching down to the earliest posts such as "Serving the Meat before the Gravy." Appetizers will also be served.

Do enjoy!
